In this blog post, I will be researching the African colour palette. African design basically incorporates the colours of nature-brown, beige, green and blue, to create rustic artefacts and unique fabrics. These warm tones of colour with a hint of brown predominate in the typical African colour palette which used to create tones that evoke the sun and the soil.

As discussed in the tutorial last week, think about using pattern and colour as a subtle part of your design if you go ahead with creating a collection for everyday wear for students.
